 YOUR VOTE COUNTS!!

The Homeowners Association owns property as described in the Special Meeting Notice.  The sale of that property can provide funding to underwrite a significant portion of the cost of building a new clubhouse.  The special  August 28 meeting will give a representative of each home a chance to vote on that issue.

It is the opinion of representatives of two major realty companies in Augusta that a brand new clubhouse will make Springlakes more attractive. According to the attorney who represents our association, undeveloped property owned by a neighborhood association can be a liability.   Fortunately, wise past planning has given us the unique opportunity to build a new clubhouse and diminish some potential liability issues without assessing the homeowners of Springlakes.

The Annual Association Picnic will have a display of the proposed clubhouse and a map indicating the properties that could be sold.  Representatives of the Board of Directors and the Clubhouse Construction Committee will be on hand to answer questions. Additionally, questions can be asked by emailing associationmanager@springlakes.org, by mailing PO Box 211112, Martinez, GA 30917 of by phoning (706)855-7987. The purpose of the meeting will be voting, no additional questions will be taken at that time.

To ensure that all who are interested in voting have adequate opportunity to do so, special proxies will be available at the Annual Picnic AND can be obtained through the association office and must be returned to the Association Manager no later than 7:00 PM on August 28.  Only these proxies will be accepted. Remember, YOUR VOTE COUNTS!!
