The Welcoming Committee provides a network of volunteers that assist in welcoming newcomers into the neighborhood. All new residents are greeted by a member of the committee who personally discusses the activities and resources available in the community.

Newcomers are provided a Welcome Packet containing a variety of literature such as the Springlakes Directory and contacts for each of the committees. The names of all new residents are published in the Springlakes newsletter.
 

The important function of welcoming newcomers to the neighborhood requires dedicated volunteers. It is critical that newcomers be greeted when they first arrive in the neighborhood. First impressions are lasting impressions! 

To make this program work effectively, all residents are requested to greet their new neighbors and contact the Welcoming Chairperson so a Welcome Packet can be presented.
